This was a big project, and I am so thankful I used Nestimates. Everything took two and a half weeks from start to finish. First, the process to get the project posted was super cool. We took a video of the entire house, about 3,000 sq ft, and answered the necessary questions. We also added pictures of the flooring we needed. The contractor purchased the flooring and had it delivered. We also had demo and prep work to do. There was one issue that wasn’t anyone’s fault, but they found water damage in the bathroom next to the shower. Fixing and leveling the ground was not included in the original price because the ground was slightly damaged. I did really appreciate the transparency. We had to do a change order for an extra $450 to level the ground properly, which I thought was more than fair. They really knew what they were doing. Will be doing more projects after the holidays!

Got an EV and needed a bigger electrical panel to support the charging. I found Nestimates by accident and decided to try them. I actually tried the mobile app. It is incredible how I can do a project from start to finish from my phone. I saved a good amount of money, and finding this platform will make my life so much easier in the future. Win, win.

Our hot water heater leaked and damaged the drywall, which needed to be replaced. This was my second time using Nestimates. I used to panic and not know where to start when it came to fixing things around the house. Now, when home problems show up, I post the project with pictures and videos. The second experience was even better than the first since I am familiar with the process. I cannot say enough nice things about the company that came out. They completed the job in two days and everything came out very nice. My garage looks even better than before.

Nestimates is a complete game changer. Uploaded the serial number and pictures of my old AC unit and heat pump. Received bids back for the system and installation. I trust them because they make the process fair, where contractors do not see your name or address. If you are not using Nestimates, you are doing yourself a disservice my friend.

I got a roof quote from a company in the valley but I did not feel comfortable going with them after being pressured to make a decision on the stop. The sales person dropped the price twice from $15,800 to $14,000 and then to $13,500. The bids from Nestimates came back with the same materials and project details. I did not choose the lowest bids because the warranty and information provided were not as thorough. The licensed contractor that we choose was priced farily and provided the complete process explanation and a good warranty. We ended up saving over $4,000. The only problem we have was that the trash dumpster was not picked up for 3 days after the project was completed but honestly it wasn’t that much of an inconvenience.

The water softener is 100% my favorite update we’ve done to this home since moving in. Nestimates made the structured posting and side by side comparison for bids so easy. We got a water softener and reverse osmosis. The company that installed it provided great service and a smooth installation. The 10 year warranty gave us peace of mind. My husband and I try to budget one home project per year, but it was so easy and seamless that we’re thinking of doing another before the end of the year.

We found out about Nestimates from a Facebook ad and liked the ability to get bids without having to call around. We are first-time home buyers and this is the third project we did. We replaced all of our outlets and switches because the home is old. We also modernized the switch covers which look so much better. It was 32 outlets and 18 light switches. Second time going through Nestimates. I absolutely love that they vet and ensure contractors are licensed and insured. I don’t want to worry about the due diligence. My HOA said that my house paint was fading, so I had to get this project done. I hate the old way of calling, scheduling, and having strangers at my home because I am not as young and energetic as I once was. So I like that I can take pictures and explain what I need done once and not repeat myself to everyone I need a bid from. I saved $950 compared to my neighbor who painted hers last month. She said she lost count how many people came by for a quote. In my opinion, we sometimes get charged more for being in a nice area. I like the virtual process much better.

Called two companies and they both wanted to come out to quote a price. I work from 9-5 and I don’t have time to schedule an electrician to come out. My wife wanted to try Nestimates, so we posted a project to replace three ceiling fans. Within two days, we saw five bids come in. Reviewed the bids at 10 PM and approved one of them. The work was done the following Saturday. My favorite thing is that I can do home projects on my own time now.

Well, that was easy. Snapped a few pictures and did a video walkthrough. Got a replacement for a newer model of the same garbage disposal that we had. Love that the process is so simple that really anyone could do it. This is the future.

I like Nestimates because of a simple reason. They make sure the contractor only gets paid when the work is complete. Mom of two and when an 11 year old hot water heater gives you lukewarm water, you have to fix it. Big thanks to the Concierge Support Team. I had questions, but they were on top of them immediately. Just some advice, the better pictures, video, and description you give, the better the outcome. The contractor wasn’t able to hear the audio on my video, but I’m not sure if that was my phone or the system itself. This phone sometimes heats up as hot as the water used to be haha. Anyway, back up and running!

Look, I’ve been burned before. I did other plumbing projects, and I admit I cut corners in the past, but a lot of the time I had to pay more to get the issue fixed when something went wrong again. I don’t hire handymen or unlicensed tradesmen anymore. The pressure regulator was replaced professionally, and I recommend this company to anyone. Smooth and simple process.

Needed quotes for licensed welding company to replace my entry gate. It was an easy process. Work got done quickly and I am happy with the system. Nothing I would change. More people should try it.
